About The Position

The position is available within a 750-bed hospital that serves as a Level 1 Trauma and Primary Stroke Center. The CT department operates 24/7, with dedicated staff including a lead tech, three techs during dayshift, and one tech for night shifts. Technologists work with advanced medical equipment to provide crucial imaging services. The ideal candidate should be dependable, prompt, and possess the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a high-volume CT department that collectively averages around 130 scans per day. As a busy trauma and stroke center, the environment encourages teamwork and mutual support among staff members.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active licensure in Kansas.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GE scanners.
• Previous exposure to Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced medical equipment to provide crucial imaging services.
• Perform CT Angiography (CTA) of the chest, neck, and abdomen.
• Conduct CTA Cardiac studies as part of the Structural Heart program.
• Perform CT Head Scans following stroke protocol.
