About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and general X-rays. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging quality, perform Point-of-Care (POC) duties, and support efficient departmental operations and patient flow.
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (CT & R) is mandatory.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be able to perform Point-of-Care (POC) duties.
- Demonstrated experience performing CT scans and general X-ray procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care standards.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate CT and radiographic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing and related duties as required.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain examination processes, and address patient concerns.
- Review imaging orders and ensure accurate positioning and high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Maintain a positive patient experience and ensure efficient departmental workflow.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required.
