OhioHealth is hiring a casual (PRN/as-needed) CT Technologist for its Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit. The role responds to 911 calls to provide care for stroke patients alongside advanced practice providers and specially trained paramedics. The mobile unit connects virtually with OhioHealth stroke neurologists while en route to the hospital and is equipped with an onboard CT scanner and point-of-care laboratory testing equipment to support timely diagnosis and treatment. The CT Technologist obtains clinical histories, reviews laboratory values and screens for allergies and contrast-media contraindications, administers oral and intravenous contrast, operates CT scanners for a range of procedures, coordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments, and monitors quality in patient-care functions. The role requires a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities may change and the listed duties are not exhaustive. Candidates must graduate from an accredited radiography program, hold an Ohio Department of Health radiologic license, be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
