As a CT Technologist, you will produce cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of various medical issues. Utilizing your advanced training and knowledge, you will accurately interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. This role is critical in the overall treatment of our patients, making you an invaluable asset to the Cleveland Clinic system. A caregiver in this role works evenings + on-call shifts from 11:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT)] in good standing
  • Certification in Computed Tomography [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
  • Current Florida state licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
  • Operate equipment safely and maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing procedures.
  • Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling, patient information, networking and informatics.
  • Document in charts and ensure that all electronic data is sent to its appropriate destination.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper orientation.
  • Provide copies of imaging studies.
  • Perform routine, emergent, invasive and special procedures.
  • Abide by all regulations that apply to state and national standards.
