About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Part-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Days) for Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO) – BJH Mallinckrodt Inst Radiol. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in Computed Tomography (CT) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment, along with quality control. The position utilizes advanced film-less imaging equipment and involves learning the latest multi-slice CT scanning techniques. The department is a leader in diagnostic radiology, performing over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT
Experience in one of the following areas: CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, Radiologic, Rad Tech, radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, ARMRIT, Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT) / Imaging Technologist, CAT Scan Technologist, Computerized Axial Tomography, Computed axial tomography (CAT) Scan technologist, Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, CAT Scan Technologist, Radiology Technologist (RAD/CT), Medical Imaging Technologist, Radiographer, Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, Cat Scan Radiologic Tech, CT/X-Ray Technologist, RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
