About The Position
The CT Technologist will attend a 2-day in-person orientation at TUKHS on the first week of starting, Monday and Tuesday. This is a 13-week contract position with a 12-hour part-time evening schedule on Thursdays and Fridays, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 AM. The facility is nicotine-free, and the current EMR is EPIC. The client reserves the right to cancel up to two shifts per month without cost to the client or pay to the employee, with a minimum of 2 hours' notice.
Requirements
- Recent Level 1 trauma center experience.
- Experience with GE Revolution 256 or Siemens Flash 128 slice scanners.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT - CT certification.
- KS Board of Healing Arts license (candidates can apply upon offer).
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
- Position patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Perform quality control checks on CT equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
