About The Position

BJC HealthCare is now hiring a Full-time CT Technologist at our Alton Memorial Hospital location. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. The CT Department at Alton Memorial Hospital utilizes two 64-slice CT scanners, one with fluoroscopy capabilities, enabling faster scan times and reduced radiation dose while maintaining image quality. Requirements

• Associate or Trade School Equi
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
• Must be R.T. (R) registered if not (CT) registered

Nice To Haves

• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
