Requirements

Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
Registered with the CMRITO
Minimum of 1 years related experience in CT
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
Satisfactory attendance and performance record required

Nice To Haves

Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience
Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC)

Responsibilities

Performs routine and specialized CT procedures
Ability to work with all areas to ensure quality patient focused care
Assist in the ongoing quality assurance program
Facilitates work area assignments
Works in conjunction with other team members and Resource Technologist cooperatively to prioritize, coordinate and integrate workloads
Coordinate troubleshooting of equipment
Ensure proper stocking of rooms
Function with other diagnostic imaging team members to monitor and optimize use of resources
Support a customer-focused environment
Other duties as required
