About The Position
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing quality CT services at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. The role includes performing CT procedures, correctly using the PACS system, supporting department efficiency through clerical and office duties, confirming scan protocols with the Radiologist, and maintaining IV/contrast competency. The position is full time and scheduled for weekend night shifts in Carbondale, Illinois.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiology or certification.
- ARRT Certification in the area of Radiology (CT).
- CT Registry.
- IEMA licensure.
- BLS.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures.
- Utilize the PACS system correctly.
- Assist with clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency.
- Check the CT schedule with the Radiologist to verify scan protocols.
- Maintain IV/contrast competency.
