Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT)(R) Radiography Certification/Registration
• Relevant State licensure (where required)
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

Nice To Haves

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT)
• (Where applicable) Must complete the controlled substance module
• (Where applicable) Must complete the initial moderate sedation module
• Specific facility-based certifications may also be required for this role.
• 1+ years CT experience

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional patient care.
• Operating complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
• Documenting patient care, accessing needed information, and medication preparation.
• Transferring patients, utilizing full range of movement.
• Retrieving, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment.
• Walking and assisting with transporting/ambulating patients.
• Obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
• Pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment.
• Navigating crowded and busy rooms.
