About The Position

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to operate assigned scanners and produce images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. The technologist provides CT services within professional standards, using a patient-centered approach and excellent customer service. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position offers a pay range of $43.00–$57.00 based on direct and relevant experience and an $8,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of radiography.
Current ARRT registration in good standing.
Radiological Technologist license in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently.
Certification in an imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

Screen patients before examinations for precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to verify the patient and procedure.
Explain and prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning them appropriately.
Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision and few repeat scans, while supporting and communicating with patients throughout procedures.
Adjust scan parameters as needed and use dose-reduction techniques where appropriate.
Follow physician orders and safety regulations, and maintain accurate patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
Keep the work area and equipment orderly and clean, promoting safe practices for patients and coworkers.
Help maintain the imaging protocol manual and support software upgrades.
Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
Assist with training new team members by providing resources and technical expertise, as applicable.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
