Make A Difference CT Technologists perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. CT Technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations and institutional policy. This position will do CT, Xray, Surgery and ER

Requirements

  • High School or GED required.
  • Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana.
  • Current ARRT (R)(CT) registry.
  • OR Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Must obtain ARRT (R)(CT) within one year of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an accredited imaging program preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
  • Prepare, administer and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations and institutional policy.
  • Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring.
  • Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patients’ medical record.
  • Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices.
