About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift position in Hawkinsville, GA. This is a 13-week contract role requiring the technologist to perform CT imaging procedures, prepare and position patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast media, maintain records, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The role also involves ensuring the proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current CT certification required
- Active state licensure if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience preferred
- Acute care or hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate CT equipment and monitor image quality for diagnostic accuracy
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of imaging equipment and work areas
