About The Position
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to support accurate and timely diagnosis. This role is essential in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care—especially during overnight hours when it matters most.
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) registered or registry-eligible
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current CPR certification – required
- Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)
Nice To Haves
- CT experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant training will be considered
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and selection of appropriate imaging parameters
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
- Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams
- Support additional radiology services as needed
- Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to quality control standards
- Document procedures accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements
