About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a CT Technologist in Oviedo, Florida. This is a hospital-based CT imaging role within a financially stable healthcare system. The technologist will perform advanced CT procedures using computerized ionizing radiation technology, maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards and patient safety protocols, and assist with X-ray procedures in the Emergency Department and imaging department when needed. The role also involves administering contrast agents safely and accurately, and participating in CT protocol development and imaging quality initiatives. Requirements
- Minimum One Year CT Experience REQUIRED
- ARRT Registered Radiographer (R) REQUIRED
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist REQUIRED
- Vocational School Graduate REQUIRED
- BLS Certification REQUIRED
- Ability To Participate In Call Rotation REQUIRED
- BLS Must Be Obtained Within 30 Days If Not Currently Active
Nice To Haves
- ARRT (CT) Preferred
- Acute Care Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and advanced imaging procedures
- Administer contrast agents according to protocol
- Maintain imaging quality and safety standards
- Perform diagnostic X-rays when requested
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient care standards
- Perform advanced CT procedures using computerized ionizing radiation technology
