About The Position

This is a PRN Weekend Shift CT Technologist position at Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO) within the BJC HealthCare System. The role involves providing flexible PRN schedule coverage, with expectations to work a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks. The position is for an Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist and offers rotation opportunities in CT Guided Biopsy and Procedures. Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT
• 1 year+ CT experience
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Nice To Haves

• CT Certification and/or Previous CT Experience
• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
