About The Position
The CT Technologist performs CT examinations according to physicians’ orders, using sophisticated CT equipment and accounting for each patient’s special or age-related needs. The role applies knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, imaging techniques, and patient treatment to produce optimal images. The position is at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, Oregon, and is per diem with variable scheduling.
Requirements
- Education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Within one year of hire: National Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography, or National Computed Tomography Technologist certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
