The CT Technologist I performs routine computed tomography (CT) examinations in accordance with established protocols, policies, and safety standards, with guidance as needed. This role involves providing safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care and support services under routine or emergent conditions, delivered under appropriate supervision across a variety of settings. The technologist will prepare patients for procedures, correlate clinical history with physician-ordered exams, administer contrast per protocol, and recognize basic imaging artifacts. Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and the care team are essential. The role also includes accurately transferring images and data, completing technical documentation, performing quality control checks, cleaning, and basic equipment maintenance. Active participation in continuing education and supporting inventory tasks are also part of the responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned.
