Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology or related field.
  • Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Registered or eligible for CT certification by the ARRT or equivalent within the first year after the start of employment.
  • Advanced CT certification is required within 12 months of hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiography experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Perform quality control checks on CT equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
