Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology or related field.
- Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Registered or eligible for CT certification by the ARRT or equivalent within the first year after the start of employment.
- Advanced CT certification is required within 12 months of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiography experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Perform quality control checks on CT equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
