About The Position

A healthcare organization in Show Low, Arizona, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team on the night shift. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results. The position supports both hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging and outpatient imaging services and may assist with additional imaging responsibilities based on department needs. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant imaging experience.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of relevant CT or diagnostic imaging experience
Appropriate CT and Radiologic Technologist credentials and state licensure as required
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety
Ability to consistently produce diagnostic-quality images
Strong patient-positioning and technical imaging skills
Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work independently during night-shift operations
Ability to participate in on-call coverage when required

Nice To Haves

Previous acute-care hospital CT experience
Experience performing both CT and general radiographic examinations
Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient imaging environments
Experience assisting in multiple imaging modalities
More than two years of CT Technologist experience

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT examinations according to established imaging protocols
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as assigned
Review and confirm physician orders before beginning examinations
Verify patient identity and ensure the appropriate examination is performed
Prepare and position patients accurately for CT and radiographic procedures
Select appropriate imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality studies
Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Provide clear explanations of procedures and address patient questions
Maintain patient safety, privacy, dignity, and comfort throughout the imaging process
Serve as a patient advocate and promote established patient-safety standards
Review completed images for technical quality and completeness
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
Assist with patient transportation when necessary
Support other imaging modalities based on department needs and demonstrated competency
Maintain appropriate department supplies and assist with inventory management
Answer and route department phone calls as needed
Participate in department meetings, hospital forums, in-services, and continuing education
Review and follow departmental and hospital policies and procedures
Participate in on-call coverage when required
Perform other related imaging responsibilities as assigned
