About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a CT Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lubbock, TX. This position involves performing high-quality CT imaging procedures, operating and maintaining CT equipment, preparing and positioning patients, monitoring patient safety, reviewing images, following safety protocols, documenting information, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and responding to emergency situations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License required
- ARRT (R) Certification required
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred
- Pediatric acute care experience preferred
- Trauma imaging experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout examinations
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Accurately document patient information and procedure details
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Respond effectively to emergency and trauma imaging situations as needed
