About The Position
Join Our Team! At Gateway, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology and a compassionate team approach. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused CT Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center in Weatherford, TX. This is a full-time position working 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and off on Wednesday's) 8am-5pm
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
- Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
- Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
