As a CT Technologist, you will be a valued member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team supporting a diverse patient population in a facility that offers 24/7 emergency care, a Level I Trauma Center, and nationally recognized specialty services in heart care, cancer care, stroke care, and orthopedics. CT imaging plays a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and emergent conditions, helping to support high-quality care across the continuum. Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
  • Healthcare Provider certification required. (BCLS) BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
  • May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
  • Performs related duties as required.
