This is a Part Time, 24-hour position in our Lee, NH location, working Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm. The role involves performing all diagnostic procedures with knowledge of pertinent academic areas to produce high-quality exams, working effectively with patients and physicians, and maintaining cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel. The technologist prioritizes patient care and quality in all procedures, potentially performing necessary procedures on patients in all age groups.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
  • Radiologic Technologist [NH State License]
  • Registered Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R-CT)
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
  • Proficiency with Information management subsystem software and computed tomography CT imaging software
  • Ability to use computers and computer systems, set up functions, enter data, or process information
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job
  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and transcription, and workplace terminology

Nice To Haves

  • Will consider graduates of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program with required license and registration
  • 0-1 year CT experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiac and CT interventional procedures
  • Assist other technologists during procedures
  • Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Consult provider as needed
  • Review images and studies for proper identification and quality
  • Checks patient history, and obtains appropriate waivers and forms, if applicable
  • Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  • Provides educational in-services to staff, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants
