About The Position

We are seeking a CT Technologist for a contract assignment in a high-performing outpatient and acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform CT imaging procedures, assist with X-ray coverage as needed, and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• Must be comfortable performing IV starts and contrast injections
• Willingness to float to X-ray when needed
• ARRT (R) – Radiography (required)
• ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Required X-Ray Skills: Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head/Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal imaging, Upper and Lower Extremities

Nice To Haves

• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience in acute or outpatient settings preferred
• Preferred Skills: Fluoroscopy studies, Enema studies

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including contrast-enhanced studies
• Start IV lines and administer contrast materials
• Conduct lab testing (i-STAT) and ensure patient readiness for imaging
• Post-process imaging studies for radiologist interpretation
• Float to X-ray as needed within scope of practice
• Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols
• Document patient data and procedures accurately using EMR systems
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow
