Requirements

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) + Computed Tomography (CT) required
  • Valid state licensure current (where required)
  • CPR/BLS certified and current
  • Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms
  • Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing
  • Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles
  • Ability to lift/assist patients and thrive in a physically active environment
  • Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates
  • Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of CT experience preferred
  • Outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Produce diagnostic-grade images that physicians and radiologists count on.
  • Manage own workflow, keep room ready, and troubleshoot equipment issues on GE, Siemens, or Philips platforms.
  • Adapt to a high-volume outpatient schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Provide full attention to every patient, including proper identification, review of medical history, explanation of procedure, and care for comfort and safety.
  • Respond swiftly to contrast reactions and maintain infection control standards.
  • Step up to mentor students, model best practices, and provide hands-on guidance.
