About The Position

This role provides healthcare services by applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and performing all related duties to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The position involves performing CT procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. It also requires providing appropriate patient care and recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures. The CT Technologist acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families, and serves as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • CT experience
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required

Responsibilities

  • Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families.
  • Acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues.
  • Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Assists in and facilitates employee development.
