Performs routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures. Responsibilities include performing CT Scan Radiology studies, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, administering intravenous contrast media under physician supervision, recognizing and treating complications, scheduling cases, positioning and transferring patients, practicing radiation safety, performing on-call duties, training new staff, preparing documentation, and performing duties of a Radiographer as needed. The role also involves demonstrating knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, assessing and interpreting patient data, providing direct patient care, committing to safety regulations, maintaining policies and procedures, enhancing professional growth, providing outstanding service, supervising students, ordering supplies, archiving images to PACS, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
