CT Technologist Per Diem
About The Position
The CT Tech is responsible for scanning and participating in all patient care. This role functions as part of a cohesive team, requiring effective communication both orally and in writing. This may include explaining clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families, comforting patients and their families, enforcing policies and regulations in difficult situations, or performing other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill. The position involves direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Massachusetts license and A.R.R.T. registration required
- Registry Eligible candidates have 90 to receive ARRT
- CT registration preferred
- Registration as a C.T. technologist within 1 year of hire
- Level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree program in Radiologic Technology
Nice To Haves
- Two years' experience in radiologic technology preferred
