About The Position
Sentara Port Warwick, located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a dedicated full-time Dual CT/DX Technologist to join our team on the night (3rd) shift. Up to $30,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! Hours Monday - Thursday: 10pm - 7am. No weekends; Call is required. Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
Requirements
- Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)
- ARRT or CNMT (Required)
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire
- BLS
Nice To Haves
- Previous X-ray experience (Strongly Preferred)
- Previous CT experience (Strongly Preferred)
