About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a rural critical access hospital in Alturas, CA, to hire a skilled CT Technologist, who is passionate about patient care, safety and high-quality diagnostics for their Hospital Radiology Team. Reporting to the Radiology Manager, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare professionals in a welcoming, community-oriented setting committed to quality care.
Requirements
- Valid CT Technologist certification and applicable state licensure
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols
- Ability to assess patient needs and communicate effectively with providers
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
- Commitment to aseptic, safety, accuracy, and quality care
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures following established safety protocols
- Ensure patient safety by minimizing risks such as radiation exposure and other hazards
- Prepare and educate patients prior to imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records in compliance with regulations
