About The Position

Trillium Health Partners is one of Canada’s largest community-based teaching hospitals, serving the growing and diverse populations of Mississauga, West Toronto, and surrounding communities. This position is a temporary part-time role, approximately 6 months in duration, and requires the technologist to be able to work at all three sites as assigned. The hospital may change assigned work locations based on operational needs and may require cross-training in other modalities. The CT Technologist will perform routine and specialized CT procedures, assist in the quality assurance program, facilitate work area assignments, and work cooperatively with team members and the Resource Technologist to prioritize and integrate workloads. Responsibilities also include coordinating equipment troubleshooting, ensuring proper stocking of rooms, monitoring and optimizing resource utilization, supporting a customer-focused environment, and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered with the CMRITO
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience in CT
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance record required

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience
  • Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC)

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine and specialized CT procedures
