About The Position

Are you looking for a career as a CT Technologist? Look no further than BJC! At Barnes Jewish Hospital you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most cutting-edge technology the market has to offer! This position will rotate at our new Plaza West Tower, which includes a fleet of the worlds first photon-counting CT scanners! The role performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in related field
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT
  • License or certification in either of the following: RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
  • IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
