The CT Technologist is responsible for performing complex CT procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations. They will explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, and assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique. The role involves processing and manipulating images, analyzing image quality, troubleshooting, and making necessary adjustments. Patient care is a key aspect, requiring assessment of the patient's condition, preparation of the room, and administration of contrast media. The technologist will also operate, care for, and maintain equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain sanitary standards. Professional accountability includes maintaining technical skills, attending continuing education, identifying quality improvement opportunities, and managing time effectively. This is a full-time position with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
