About The Position

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to support operations at the Eureka Veterans Affairs CBOC. Services include the full range of CT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including on-call shifts. Multiple shift schedules are available. Assigned schedules are subject to change. Ansible is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing solutions in national security, health care, and information technology.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
• ARRT (CT) certification is required
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
• Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
• All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience with the GE-64 750HD and Siemens SOMATOM Force is preferred
• Prior VA experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provides CT Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC
• Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients
• Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques
• Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including: CT Diagnostic Imaging, Abdomen, Pelvis, Neuroradiology Imaging, Cardiovascular / Extremity, Cardiac
• Performs related administrative tasks
