About The Position

The CT Technologist works under the supervision of the physician, provides radiologic care, and services to patients by arranging and operating equipment to produce images of the human body for diagnosis and treatment. The CT Technologist ensures the Radiology department meets accreditation standards and achieves Singing River Health System objectives. Expectations are for all performed duties to be in accordance with Singing River Health System procedures and policies, accreditation organization, and governing guidance and publications for health care employees. The Float CT Technologist will be required to work at all SRHS facilities.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited, state-approved, School of Radiologic Technology.
Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
Minimum of six (6) months experience in Computerized Tomography Scanning is required for Float CT Tech/Premium Flex CT Tech.
Proficient knowledge and ability to use a computer (must be keyboard proficient) and other office technology (i.e., telephone, fax, etc.), MS Outlook and Word.
Superior customer service skills and professional etiquette.

Nice To Haves

CT Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
A minimum of six (6) months experience in Computerized Tomography Scanning preferred (for non-float positions).
