As a CT Technologist, you will capture precise diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions. This role involves creating detailed cross-sectional images, ensuring a positive patient experience, and understanding the critical importance of diagnostic imaging, including general imaging workflow, patient positioning, and capturing clear results for timely diagnoses.

Requirements

  • Completion of approved radiologic technology program in radiography or nuclear medicine technology
  • Minimum two (2) years of CT experience.
  • CT Radiology Tech: AZ,
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, upon hire
  • American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of CT experience., upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations i.e. Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro and Interventional Procedures
  • Assists Interventional Radiologist by accurately scanning the area of interest requested by Radiologist i.e. biopsies and drainages
  • Ensures patient is ready for scan i.e. confirms appropriate gauge IV needle, appropriate type/dose of contrast and allergy status
  • Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol i.e. completes exams in Radnet, incident reports/extravasation forms, patient contrast information forms, side/site forms and documents exam information in CT log
  • Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary
  • Encourages good working relationships, promotes team effort within the department by communicating in a positive manner and motivates staff
