About The Position
Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a part time CT Technician. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Requirements
- Graduate from a formal Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified by American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
- Advanced certification in Computerized Tomography
- Licensed in State of New York as Radiological Technologist
Responsibilities
