About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to take your CT career to the next level while helping launch imaging services in the brand-new Kamin Tower. In this unique role, you'll support both our main CT department and this state-of-the-art expansion, serving as one of the primary technologists dedicated to the new space and playing a key role in shaping its success from the ground up. Enjoy a flexible daylight schedule with the option of 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, along with every-other-weekend coverage and holiday picks (typically one summer and one winter holiday per year). Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or certified by a CNMT program.
  • 3 years CT experience required.
  • Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
  • ARRT certified as a CT Technologist.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
  • ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous 3D post processing experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tech quality assurance program and the reviewing and updating of protocols alongside of or in place of the lead technologists.
  • Assumes leadership role in training staff on new equipment
  • Assist with accreditation responsibilities.
  • Attends advanced training sessions and seminars in order to maintain industry standards in imaging techniques and disseminates information to imaging departmental leadership and as a part of new hire orientation.
  • Leads training on new techniques and protocols for research studies and collaborates with radiologists and researchers where applicable to identify new techniques and problem solving resolutions.
  • Serves as a technical resource to technologists on a daily operational basis.
  • Creates and implements new training programs, where applicable, and assists with the startup of new offsite locations.
  • Responsibilities for new locations include, but are not limited to, working on reporting systems, obtaining appropriate images and effectively communicating with attending physicians as well as co-workers and patients
