About The Position

This is a per diem position responsible for covering shifts at multiple locations including CH Zeeland Hospital and CH Care Center -Grand Haven. If able, this technologist will help support in Xray on an as needed basis. This position is applicable for CT Technologist 1 with less than two years of related work experience and CT Technologist 2 with two years or more of related work experience. Scope of work Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• 2 years of relevant experience
• CT experience Required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• AHA OR ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
