Requirements

High School Graduate or equivalent
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography, ARRT (R) (CT)
Registered by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) in Radiography (R ) , Computerized Tomography (CT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Operate all routine Computerized Tomography equipment in a safe and proficient manner.
Abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies and perform these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values.
Produce high quality images with a minimum of repeats.
Handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams (diagnostic and interventional computerized tomography) on a daily basis.
Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department (i.e. clerical duties, inventory, stocking, light housekeeping duties, etc.).
May participate in the training and orientation of other employees.
Some X-Ray coverage may be needed.
