About The Position

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography, ARRT (R) (CT)
  • Registered by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) in Radiography (R ) , Computerized Tomography (CT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Operate all routine Computerized Tomography equipment in a safe and proficient manner.
  • Abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies and perform these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values.
  • Produce high quality images with a minimum of repeats.
  • Handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams (diagnostic and interventional computerized tomography) on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department (i.e. clerical duties, inventory, stocking, light housekeeping duties, etc.).
  • May participate in the training and orientation of other employees.
  • Some X-Ray coverage may be needed.
