About The Position
Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a certified CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at our Raleigh and surrounding area locations.
Requirements
- Associate or two-year degree in Radiography.
- Current ARRT registration and CT certification.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. and assist with patient positioning.
- Ability to work at other Wake Radiology locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare, position, and communicate with patients throughout procedures.
- Ensure high-quality images and properly process images for radiologist review.
- Assist radiologists and other team members as needed.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment/service records.
- Provide excellent patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Recognize and report unusual findings, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
