About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Days) for Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO) – BJH @ Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) – 3rd Floor CT Dept or ACB / Gary C Werth Siteman Cancer Center. This role performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. The technologist prepares the patient and equipment for procedures and performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by the work area.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Nice To Haves

• CT Radiology Technologist – Certified – preferred
• 1 year CT experience – preferred
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy
• <2 years experience

Responsibilities
