About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee to join their team. This full-time position involves learning to perform a variety of standard and specialty Computerized Tomography (CT) procedures accurately. The trainee will utilize radiofrequencies, time varying gradients, and a high magnetic field to produce quality studies under supervision. The role requires adherence to the profession's code of ethics and observation of safety measures. Competency in performing routine CT exams must be demonstrated within six months of the training program's commencement. This position is based at the Waco facility with an anticipated transfer to the Temple, TX facility upon its opening.

Requirements

Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality
Georgia license (or ability to get one) is required
Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology
Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS and PACS use
Organized, detail oriented, observant
Calm and effective communicator
Helpful, patient and sympathetic

Responsibilities

Learn to perform a variety of standard and specialty Computerized Tomography (CT) procedures with accuracy.
Utilize radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with supervision.
Apply the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
Maintain knowledge of, observe, and enforce the safety measures in Environment of Care.
Demonstrate competency performing routine CT exams within six months of commencement of the CT training program.
