CT Technologist II - Per Diem

About The Position
This position involves receiving and preparing patients, operating computerized scanning equipment to perform CT radiographic scans. These scans are used by radiologists and physicians to diagnose patient injuries and study body systems. The role reports to the Executive Director of Radiology/Imaging and is accountable to the Manager, working under the direction of a Radiologist.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT and current ARRT registration, or NMTCB(CT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification in CT.
- Current IEMA license.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Receives and prepares patients.
- Operates computerized, non-invasive scanning equipment to provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans.
- Assists radiologists and physicians in diagnosing patients' injuries and/or studying body systems through CT scans.
