About The Position

This is a cross-training opportunity in CT, open to training Radiology Graduates and Radiologic Technologists. The CT Technologist I operates computerized, non-invasive scanning equipment to provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans for radiologists and physicians to diagnose patients' injuries and/or study body systems. The role reports to the Executive Director of Radiology/Imaging, with accountability to the Manager and under the direction of a Radiologist.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology, preferred
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Current IEMA license
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Receives and prepares patients.
  • Operates computerized, non-invasive scanning equipment to provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans.
  • Provides scans for radiologists and physicians to diagnose patients' injuries and/or study body systems.
