About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a CT Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate, under the direction of the radiologist, will provide CT services to patients for diagnosis, closely follow physician's instructions, appropriately position patients, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately record the images requested. This is a part-time position with 16 hours per week, located at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.

Requirements

Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

1 year of radiology experience is preferred.
Computed Tomography (CT) credential from ARRT is preferred.

Responsibilities
