About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CT Technician to perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, operating CT equipment safely, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of imaging studies. This role also involves patient communication, adherence to safety standards, and working effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico imaging license – required
• Associate Degree in Imaging – required
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient positioning.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and properly position patients for imaging studies.
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review images for quality and ensure studies are completed accurately.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process.
• Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
