The CT Tech is responsible for obtaining patient history, explaining standard procedures, and addressing patient concerns. This role produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by departmental procedures. Additionally, the CT Tech performs ultrasound examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required, and the role typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
