About The Position

Community Hospital/Imaging is seeking a Part-Time CT Tech to join their team. This role involves explaining CT procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and proper positioning, operating CT machines to capture high-quality images, and documenting patient information. The CT Tech will select appropriate imaging protocols, perform scans, and assist in the interpretation of images. Requirements

• Associates degree and at least one (1) year of diagnostic radiographic experience and CT training.
• Current license in the State of Colorado.
• ARRT Registry in Radiology and CT (Required)
• Current BLS

Responsibilities

• Explain the CT procedure to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure patients are properly positioned and comfortable during the scan.
• Operate CT machines, adjusting settings to obtain high-quality images.
• Select appropriate imaging protocols based on the type of examination.
• Perform scans, capturing cross-sectional images of specific body areas.
• Document patient information, scan parameters, and any notable observations.
• Discuss findings and assist in the interpretation of images when necessary.
